Why?
You don't have a CD drive in the computer?
You don't know the letter?
It doesn't let you type in the letter?

What version of Windows are you using?
Is it different from the one you used when you played the games before?

There are installers for the DOS versions of the games at sierrahelp.com if you can't get the SquirtTheCat versions working. I think the RAMA game has both versions on the CD's but I'm not sure about the Lighthouse game.

the reason why its imposible,to enter the cd drive leter
it shows you a small window, looks like a drop down list
but it does simply not work, its frozen, you canot type manualy also not,the drop down list does not work, thats
why i offered go there and try by your self, then you will know, you dont have to be afraid, nothing will install

Are you using Windows 8.1? Windows 7? Vista? XP?
Have you tried running the installer as Administrator (right-click the installer and choose "Run As Administrator")
Have you made sure your antivirus isn't blocking the installers?
Have you tried running the installers in Compatibility mode?

I'm not sure what else to suggest.
Squirtthecat has a forum at http://squirtthecat.com/forum/
You could try asking there, but the person who wrote the installers doesn't seem to have stopped by recently.

The installers from the Sierrahelp site that I mentioned before might work for you.

I'm a little confused - I didn't think you could download the games themselves from Squirtthecat as Samuel says he did - just the installers. You still need to have the game disc in the CD drive in order to initially use the installers. Or am I missing something here?

I think he meant the installers. Samuel may be using an online translator. He said:

So he must have had the CD's for the games if he was able to install and play them before.

However you do have a point -- the installers need the original game CD's to be inserted in the drive during the installation. Both the squirtthecat installers and the sierrahelp installers need the original CD's, and the CD/DVD drive has to be working.

If the game CD is in the drive, but Samuel is unable to select the drive letter, there might be an incompatibility between Samuel's current version of Windows and the way the squirtthecat installer accesses the drive. Or there might be a problem with the CD/DVD drive.

Samuel,
Make sure that Windows itself is able to read the CD. Make sure there is nothing wrong with the CD/DVD drive and that it is able to read the game CD's.

Well, there's always native DOSBox and D-Fend Reloaded. Either of the 2, stand-alone DB or DB+D-Fend will play the game without any special installer requirements (assuming you have a DOS version).

What I don't recall is, if the original CD's contained both the Windows and DOS versions...

Lighthouse has both Windows and DOS versions on the CD.

They say roughly 95% of computer problems are solved with a reboot!
