BOUT 2 black screen

Hi fellow Boomers,
I played this game to the end, but as soon as the credits started I got a black screen, so not only did I NOT see the credits, I did not get to see the short video which appears after the end of the credits. I even deleted the game, then re-installed it, but I got that black screen only at the same place that I did before. This is a STEAM game, and I have WIN XP. Has anybody had this same problem? Thanks in advance.

You might try applying the 1.03 patch if you haven't already. It addressed some graphics issues.

Thanks, Inland, but according to the forum. that patch can only be used for the BOXED version of this game.

That patch was for the first game,not BOUT 2.

BTW, I went to a video walkthrough of the ending of the game and I saw what I missed in the actual game, so I'm feeling pretty good about that.

Sorry, that was a bad link - I'm not sure how King Arts updates the disc (and Steam) versions, my copy is from GOG and auto-updates (which up until a few days ago failed to work). GOG released an patch to correct that one.
