Question ..If I do this will it effect my backup? I want to back up my computer with windows 10 imaging.. Now if I delete the old files from windows 7 then will the backup for windows 10 be a regular backup without imaging ?

The windows.old file allows you to revert back to Windows 7 should you choose to do so within 30 days.
