Black Screen In The Silver Lining

I use Bandicam to record gameplay to make game walkthoughs for my site, and yesterday I started with episode 1 of TSL to start on a walkthrough of it...but whenever I record gameplay, the video is all black, with the audio of the game, and if I do a screenshot with my keyboard's PRNTSCR key, the photo is all black.

I am running Windows 7, in the icon's properties, I have it set to run in compatibility for Windows XP, and have checked the boxes by Disable Visual Themes, Disable Desktop Composition, and Disable Display Scaling On DPI Settings and I have tried it by installing both in the default location, and also in the main C:/ folder, all to the same result. I have tried with recording with a trial of Camtasia, incase it was something with Bandicam, but that didn't help either

InlandAZ, thanks for your help. I did actually find a fix, though my issue wasn't because of Bandicam.

In the game's icon, in the properties, where I disabled those three options, I had only done it in the main compatibility, not for all accounts (although this is the only account on my computer) I noticed the last walkthough I did went fine, but I recently downloaded the newest Redemption Cemetery and have been playing a little of it, and it was doing the same as TSL, so I tried clicking the checkboxes on those three options in the "for all users" part and voila, now it works as should

I have an update, with a great outcome. Again yesterday I was having this same issue with TSL and also the newest Redemption Cemetery, then I noticed my PC was having issues with windows (the updates specifically) I reinstalled windows and am currently reinstalling my programs and games, and just got TSL reinstalled. I disables the visual themes, desktop compsition and display scaling in the compatibility tab, then went into TSL and the screenshot via the print screen key on my keyboard is normal (not a black screen) I have gotten Bandicam reinstalled too, and it's a complete success
