GB Shortcut on Desktop

Hi.

All of a sudden, using Firefox, I can't drag the Gameboomers "address icon" down to my desktop
[If I "hover" over the icon whilst I'm visiting, I just see the message "no information is supplied".]

However, using IE, I CAN still drag it down

Is there some other way to get it with Firefox ??

Hi Mad,

Until the experts can add more info --- I clicked-hold the i inside a circle left of the GB url and it can be released to the desktop.
The hover shows "website does not supply identity information". I will check on this.

I have firefox version 46.0.1.

Ah - one of the things it wants aside for paying for a validation certificate (we are who we say we are) - is the name of the owner of the site. I think the owner does not want to be open to phishings.

I'm on 46.0.1 as well. The dragging works for me. A lot of sites give the "website does not supply identity information" message so it's not just GB.

If you highlight the whole of the address text in the addressbar and drag that over, does that work? That works for me as well.

Thanks to you for trying to help, too, but after highlighting the whole address, I wasn't able to drag it.
[No doubt this does happen at other sites but Gameboomers is the only one so far where I've encountered the situation.]
