the longest journey HELP

dear peopole,i downloaded from GOG,(the longest journey)
once the game is starded,the chracter,(april model),keeps
jumping,and is so tiny,its hard to see,how can i play this
game like this,something is wrong,but what i dont know
PLEASE help me out

Samuel, this is the support page for The Longest Journey from GOG. I have to leave right now so can't look into it for you, but maybe you can find something to help you. What version of Windows?
There are issues with versions of TLJ later than 1.0.0.9 if you're using Windows 7.

I would check the graphical settings for the game in the Options menu - maybe try disabling antialiasing if it is checked, or changing double buffering to single buffering, etc.

These are suggestions I saw in the GOG forum for the game. In any event, checking your game settings is a good idea.

The Longest Journey has problems with WinXP SP3 that are video related. It may depend on your graphics card.
What typically happens is that movement of the cursor or characters on the screen causes damage to the background. Sometimes you can't see the scene well enough to do what is necessary.

You could try Win2000 compatibility and definitely experiment with your video card settings.

dear people,the game works as new,now i can see all characters,nothing jumps
around as before,what i did is,when i click the shortcut,to play the game, a small box comes up,it has a few options,one of the options is,(enable 3d
acceleration),beside it is a tiny box,to place a check mark in it,or to uncheck it,till now i touched nothing,for fear maybe the game will not run,but now i just
uncheked it,once this was don,a new world opened,i can now see all characters
