Dexter says he will answer Malachi's questions after sending two other men out of the room but then the game freezes.
I'm running it under Windows 7.

Does your video card meet the minimum requirements.

In the Steam forum for the game, I found this in the frequently asked questions section:

The game freezes up often

This can be fixed by adding the command line option "-force-gfx-direct" to the game. To do this, locate Moebius in your list of games, right click, and choose Properties. On the dialogue that pops up, click on the "Set Launch Options..." button and type the option mentioned above into the box. Re-launch the game and enjoy!

No idea if this will help, but thought I would throw it out there.

Didn't get it from Steam.
Don't have "Set Launch Options..."
Tried adding to Target but had no effect.

Skipping important dialogue isn't fixing the problem now is it.

I sent Phoenix Online Studios an email since the game came through them.

NOTE to self: Don't wait years to play games again it causes issues. Like lost email with links.

In the mean time just installed a different game I did get from Steam: Stroke of Fate: Operation Valkyrie

You didn't say where you got it.
"Set Launch Options" is probably Steam-specific.

However the link for the saves on the Steam page I linked to goes to postudios.com (the Phoenix Online website)

The link seems to still work.
The instructions they give for renaming files is probably also correct.

Turns out Phoenix Online did reply to my email but it got flagged as spam. When i sent a second message they wrote back fron a non-company email to inform me about the first email. So Now I have a link to download whats hopefully a debugged version of the game.

There is (or was) a patch from 2015 -- not exactly a new patch. Is that the one you're looking for? Any recent download should already be patched. If you downloaded the game more than 2 years ago, try downloading again.

Here is the announcement of the version 2.0 patch, dated January 2015.

If you downloaded the game later than that, and still have the issue, then it is already patched and the version 2.0 patch would not fix your problems even if it were still available.

I logged into GOG to check version, and their current version is 2.2.0.9. So a version 2.0 patch would be a downgrade. It's probably the same if you download from Phoenix, but you can check if your installer includes the version number.
