Dark Fall the Journal can't save game

back again,I down loaded dark fall the journal from GOG.but as i started to play ,i went down the tracks and i tried to save game but there is no save game just quite . and that was in the upper right corner.now what do i do ?

If I remember right, you can't save at the very beginning of the game.
I recommend playing a little further into the game before saving.

MaG's walkthrough states:

You have to get out of the tunnel, into the electric room and turn the electricity on. The boy will help guide you. After that, you will see 3 buttons at the top right corner. One of them is for saving. Type in a name to save.

Sorry, I had to go into the game to find out.

Also, the game is not very alt/tab friendly. If you need to post in hints, I would recommend you exit the game completely.

thanks , i was in the electric room and turned on the the electricity on.thats when i got out . so it looks like i need to start over .

Yes. Turn on the light bulb, then the switches. Leave the room and maybe take a step or two outside or turn around or something. Then you should be good to go. You'll know when.

yikes, can't find my saved game,where is it ?this is harder than the game it self.
