Hi Bluto, since you are having technical problems with the game, I have moved your post over to Glitches so that the techies can advise you about this game.

I had no trouble whatsoever playing this game on my Windows 7 computer, but I played the game as a download from GOG.

Sounds like the work of an antivirus.

Like Marian, I had no problems at all playing a DRM-free version on Windows 7.

Not all Windows 7 computers are created equal. They have completely different video cards and drivers and if you're using an antivirus, that could be interfering with the game -- especially a game with disc-based DRM.

Hi Bluto,
Just curious, did you get the game working properly? Did you manage to finish the game?
You said you have the CD version do you have to leave the CD in the Drive to play it? When you installed the game, did it ask you to install DirectX files?

Hi Starcom

I got the game to run semi correctly it would go to some places
correctly and toward the end when sam was suppose to meet the lambs
club at the hall the cut scene did not take place no lambs club.
I am only going to down load the game if I have to.
The disk should run correctly I am running on win 7 laptop
All advice welcome.

What you just described above about the Lambs Club sounds like a gameplay problem, not a technical problem. If you haven't done everything you are supposed to in all areas, the cut scene does not trigger. There would be nothing wrong with the game - it would just mean that you have missed something to trigger the cut scene.

If all else fails, a video walkthrough might be helpful as well.

Hi Marian

I played the game on the windows 7 laptop I have its an HP I used
You Tubes walkthrough while playing the HP is an older lap and even
Following You Tube at the tiles section it locked up what is the age of
The windows 7 laptop you played your down load of the game on does
Age make a difference?
I am going to try and down load the game from GOG and see what happens
Thank You

It can, though not necessarily because the laptop itself is "too old" or "too new" to play the game.

Using the GOG version of the game should rule out any problem with disc-based DRM (like DRM trigger functions deliberately causing the crash). Older DVD drives may no longer spin and read at the rate required by disc-based DRM, so if the DRM is using trigger functions, it can deliberately cause bugs and crashes to be inserted into the game and make it impossible to complete.

Let us know if you have the same problems with the GOG version. If you do, the problem is likely to do with your video card or its drivers rather than with the DRM, which occurs more often with laptop versions of video cards.
