Hanging Around

Twelve balls, four each of the three colors, were suspended by strings from a 6x6 array of hooks in a glass box. Each ball hung at one of four levels; no more than one ball hung from any hook.

Not sure how you would like our answers but I would hazard a guess to say that E3 is blue

I think one person can provide the entire solve. I'll need to know what color ball is in each box and at what level.

1 = bottom level
4 = top level
