The rule of the puzzle was to supply a four letter word and yes, wordage is a word.

Guess I need a new Webster's

My Webster's has it. I have the Ninth New Collegiate Edition. Here's what Dictionary.com has. It sounds like a "word" my brother-in-law would use. He adds "age" to the end of a lot of words such as "Hey, I need some toolage. Do you have a socket set I could borrow?"

Think of all the "new" words I've missed

Speaking of new words, I learned one today. I thought I must have had something wrong on my crossword puzzle because I ended up with the word salaam by solving everything else around it. The clue was "bow" and as it turns out it means to bow low, showing respect.

Yay! It's in my dictionary

I've seen that word in crossword puzzles before.
