Andy Serkis did a lot more than just the voice. He did the motion capture which helped Gollum appear so real.

It was, Fil - for a comedy that was quite scary in parts grin

Hadn't seen The Ghost Breakers so looked it up in IMDB - must try and get it on video. Looked quite similar to The Cat and the Canary, even the gags:

The Ghost Breakers -
Geoff Montgomery: It's worse than horrible because a zombie has no will of his own. You see them sometimes walking around blindly with dead eyes, following orders, not knowing what they do, not caring.
