For those of you who might need instructions for cryptic crossword clues, check out this page .

These have all been created by a variety of well-known constructors. There may be one or two that we might question, but they're still fun. Please explain all answers.

I agree with Denis about 5 being tougher than 6, and I think that soporific usually means causing drowsiness (rather than drowsy) so that I may have misused it ( I recall lettuces being described as soporific in one of the Peter Rabbit books). wink
