Those last two are a bit of a stretch, as I believe that neither properly exists as an adverb (although some internet definitions suggest otherwise): the closest you could get would probably be edgily and submissively. smile

I also found them, but I do not believe that submitting or edging are bona fide adjectives, so that I do not see how they can be converted into adverbs. smile

The internet is not always great on grammatical precision.

Of course 9 could have been "Tom submitted."
