The following are proverbs well known in the UK, except that each word has been replaced by one that rhymes. As an example "Any strands take light jerk" would give "Many hands make light work". Now try these.

This wording of the Golden Rule was new to me. I see from an internet search to confirm my guess that it's common but I just don't remember coming across it before. I always had it as, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
