I had the tune going round in my head for 24 hours before drilling down to the band and title; definitely losing my edge!

I can also hear the tune to 2 but not the words..makes me think of the Sweet or one of the Kssenetz-Katz bands, but not any of those....

2 sounds very like Peggy Sue by Buddy Holly, but a tad too long before the opening chord, and 5 years later...
