Threesomes

A favorite of mine from years past, this puzzle by Stitchman uses an alphabetical list of seemingly unrelated words which can be combined into groups of three for different categories.

Your job is to sort them into their Threesomes hopefully by the correct category.

Oh by the way...many words appear to fit in more than one category
