-1. Intro 1
-2. Intro 2
-3. Intro 3
-4. Intro 4
-5. Intro 5
-6. Intro 6
-7. Intro 7
-8. Intro 8
-9. Intro 9
-10. Intro 10

Enjoy,

Rog grin

Rog,

I say you start short and add length if nobody comes up with the answer. Either way I love these. thanks thumbsup

5. Car Wash

I like the intros that are just long enough to have the title right at the tip of my tongue and make my head spin around to get it. woozy

3. Had to be Jerry Lee Lewis, but I had not heard him do Me and Bobby McGee before. smile

I agree with SQF on length of extracts: these were a fraction longer than optimum for stage one in my (not so humble) opinion, but I also agree that it is always a great quiz in any event! thumbsup

Was indeed, Lex. Terry Wogan used to play it a lot on his breakfast show and always referred to it as "hooligan music" smile

Re: Spot the Intro - 06/08/17 06:57 PM

OK - number 10. You already have nearly all of the intro - have added just a smidgeon of the vocal... think

10 has to be something by Elvis, but I was never a great fan (although did see him live in Las Vegas in 1971...). smile

Any real Elvis fans able to identify the track?

[That time in Vegas, Ike and Tina Turner with the very glamorous Ikettes were the other act we saw and quite something in a relatively small bar...] smile

OK - time's up. smile

It was Mess of the Blues ("I just got your letter baby/Too bad you can't come home")

Comments taken on board - will stick to the "short then longer" format but mebbe be a bit more generous woth the initial short clips thanks
