Display Case - 11/04/17 09:07 PM

Three colors of fidget spinners are arranged in the display cabinet shown below. Each shelf, each column, and each of the two diagonals of cubbyholes contains exactly two of each color of fidget. Given the clues below, can you determine which color fidget is in each cubbyhole?

In row 1, neither purple is immediately to the left or right of either coral
In row 2, both purples are somewhere to the left of both corals
In row 3, at least one purple is immediately to the left or right of at least one coral
In row 4, the middle two cubbyholes contain the same color
In row 5, the order of the six colors is not the same left to right as right to left
In row 6, neither end cubbyhole contains a purple

In column A, at least one coral is in a top or bottom cubbyhole
In column B, the two corals are in adjacent cubbyholes
In column C, the two blues are separated by at least two other fidgets
In column D, the middle two cubbyholes contain different colors
In column E, each purple is immediately above or below at least one blue
In column F, the two purples are in adjacent cubbyholes

Sue, you owe me a couple Tylenols!

May I ask a couple clarification questions:

0 = empty, 1 = purple, 2 = coral, 3 = blue

Row 1 can possibly be: 1 1 0 0 2 2
but cannot be: 1 1 2 2 0 0 (a 2 is next to a 1).

Thanks.

Denis, I print out the grid for solving. Then I put PBC in each square. Then I work through the clues over and over, erasing definite NO's as I go.

No space is empty. There are two of each color fidget in each row, column, and diagonal.

Good luck! grin

ARRGG!! Misread the 1st clue:
"In row 1, neither purple is immediately to the left or right of either coral"

Stupidly took that to mean 2 colors per row...

Clear now. Merci beaucoup.

Awesome puzzle, Pandora! woozy

The "diagonals" requirement cracked this one.
