Circular Logic

Here's a little mathish, logical thingy. All circles have a unique value from 1-9. The overlapped areas represent the total value for the circles involved. Can you figure out the values for each circle?

I'm confused (what else is new!).

A + C + D = 17 ?
C + D + G = 17 ?

Is that how the overlaps work?

A+C+D=17
C+G=17

So we have:
A+C+D=17
B+E+F=8
D+E+H=11
C+G = 17
F+I=10

After a few obvious like:
since C+G = 17, then C = 9 or 8 (likewise for G):
