Humpty-Dumpty's worst nightmare.

Tom: You know Gerry, lots of things have been said about eggs, some of them even profound! Why there are even many different ways to cook eggs. Now I admit you can't hard boil or soft boil these eggs anymore but you could definitely hard scramble them or soft scramble them, sunny side up really isn't an option for most of these but we could definitely call these a little over easy. Tom chuckles... Of course there's over medium or omelets or frittatas or hashed or poached or baked, shirred, basted, then there's Spanish fried eggs and ...

Gerry skeptically: Are you serious man?

Tom: Uh...why yeah! At least we didn't have all our eggs in one basket!

Erk! I fell asleep in my chair last night and staggered to bed without posting here. This was a difficult one to decide. DocPaul's forklift and engagement ring squiggles made me laugh as did ScarletDragon's idea of Humpty Dumpty losing sleep over the mess. However, as a sucker for puns, I have to go with this one from Soot:
