Any of six colors (red, blue, yellow, green, white, black) is possible in each position; any color may be repeated; blanks are not used. Each guess is represented by a row of colored circles and each response by a group of small black and white pegs to the right. A response consists of one black peg for each circle that is correct in both color and position, and one white peg for each circle that is correct in color but not in position. The arrangement of pegs has no correlation to the arrangement of circles. A black peg takes precedence over a white peg. Can you determine the winning combination?
