I'm having problems and I just started.
This is a very difficult game but it is a
great challage I'm with Nico in Paris
on the balcony to Vernon apartment.
I use the press card to open the door
she keeps saying "the gap is to small for
the card."Please can anyone tell me what
am I leaving out Help Thank you

Chris, you could be on the wrong balcony. Try if you can go to the other balcony and try the card.

Hi again
While having fun playng this game. I ran into a
problem and had to start over again
I don't know how I smash to wnidshield
before but I'm having trouble smashing the windshield.
I try to get the highlights on the windsield but having no
luck. I using the up or down arows but nothing moves so I
never get the action icon Please help Thank you

Pittston are you in the first part of the game? The part about getting the highlight on the windshield is probably positional. Try to scoot George around a bit until you get the hotspot. You will have to grab the fire extinguisher to smash the windshield with though. Once you have that you should only need to get the hotspot and then use the gears to get the action you need to throw the extinguisher

yes I'm at the start of the game.
I did try to move his postitions
before picking up the extinguisher
but he always goes to the same postition.
the strong highlight is on Harrys window
and the weak one is on the windshield. the
gear does not appear I keep trying to get the
strong highlight on the windshield so that
the gear appears.I must be doing something wrong.

Pittston try changing his point of view....have him look up or down a bit and see if that will help you. I remember having trouble with this but I also remember that it was my problem in not being used to the controls.

different positions to finally get the hightlight

I'm almost at the end of this game.
As you can see it takes me a long time to
finish a game. I'm in the castle with Nico
as Petra. I did get the validated security
card but I can't get the active light on the
door so that I can use the card. the walkthrough
says Page up. Does the mean up arrow? I did try that
but it didn't help.Can you please help. Thank you so much

Watch her head. There are 2 hotspots on that door.
One lower which is the knob.
The one above it which is the card reader.
Move her to get her to look at the top one and the use the security card.

The Page up key is above the directional arrows. They are not the same keys as the directional (up, down, right, left) arrows.

Look on your keyboard.
I have the regular English Qwerty keys on the main (these are the ones with the letters).
On the right of that - at bottom are the directional arrows (up, down, right, left).
On my keyboard, the page up/down is above those arrows and right of the regular letter keys.
In some keyboards, the page up/down (page scroll) are on the top line.

Take a look at the picture on this page. It is exactly like mine with the page scroll above the arrows.

computer for many years and never used those keys.
I guess no matter how old you get you can
