I hope this is the right forum for this question...how do I save a game? I go to save and click on a square but nothing happens. I'm sure it's something simple but I'm not seeing it.

Thanks,

gameho

Is this the complete name of the game?

Yes. It's AR-K Episode 1. I downloaded it from the Adventure Shop.

I wondered if this autosaves since it is an episodic game.
I found a walkthrough at GamesOver here.

You can ask the developer Gato Salvaje lol12 here.

Thanks. I thought of that too, but then why have a "save" in the main menu? While I was writing this the game froze and I had to exit...no autosave that I can see. BTW, thanks for the walkthru link especially since I can't figure out how to save!

I e-mailed this problem. I will let you know the response. Thanks for the link.

Hi gameho - I think you press excape to get the save dialog

I also think you can help me - is the game in English?

-----------------

Hi again, it is ok, I checked the adventure shop site and it says is both Spanish AND English, so I will take the plunge!

I am sorry it took so long to respond...I was out all day. I don't know about escape to get the save dialog...when I hit escape I get to the main menu where there is a "save" feature but it didn't work. I e-mailed the developer (thanks MaG!) and he said to run the game as administrator. Who woulda thunk?

You can choose your language when it is either installed or first run. I know I am playing it in English but when you go to the "help" feature, some of it is in English and some in Spanish. I hope this helps.

Hi Gameho, I later had the same trouble (though I had seen the game menu by pressing escape I had not wanted to save till I progressed and wanted to go to sleep!) and the game developer helped me out too.

I did some research and Windows 7 has a default security setting of non administrator to decrease the chance of being hacked.

And the games inability to save on Windows 7 is easily corrected by right mouse clicking on the programs icon, and choosing run as administrator.

I must get back to the game now!!
