Intro

Night Detective is an adventure point and click puzzle game! The game is centered around the mysterious man who only appears under the cover of darkness. This man is only known by the name of "Night Detective". Some people believe he is a criminal, others believe he is strange, and the rest do not know what to believe. For most, his existence is only a rumor.

Night Detective is mainly a picture puzzle game. To complete each level, there are a certain number of items to click in the level to get the door to open to lead to the next level. You are not left in the dark however, as we have a hint system which, in essence gives the title of each individual level/scene and helps you know what to look for and click! There are many things in each level that are not for you to click however and you click on 3 wrong items then it is game over for you! Once the right combination of clicks of interests have been "turned on" then you can advance. There is more depth to it however! There is an item system and you can back track through previous rooms and to access new areas and levels using newly discovered items! It is not linear providing a sense of exploration in a 2D world! You traverse 2D levels as if they were 3D. It is a unique experience that combines, point and click, puzzle solving, shooting, and adventure styles of gameplay.
