Have you turned the temperature on?
If so click the bread in batter on the oven door.
Then turn the oven on.

Not admitting defeat... is the beginning of the solution.
But sometimes asking for help is not a bad idea!

The temperature on the oven should be between minimum and maximum.

If that doesn't fix it: Have you followed the recipe correctly? Perhaps if an ingredient is missing you won't be able to open the oven door. think Just a wild guess - I haven't played this game yet. Can you start over again with the recipe to make sure?

I get the gears on the oven, but once I get the toast on my cursor, it won't stay., I have set the ioven on medium, Just can't get it to work, I have to be doing something wrong, but can't figure it out, Went back to a saved game and got to the same spot and had the same problem. Hi NPatricia,

I moved the post you made on another's thread to your own thread. Please stay with one thread so that we can keep track of your progress, thanks

Let's wait for someone familiar with this part of the game to help you.

still didn't work. Thankd for the help in where this should be, new to the site. I think my game has a glitch in it, as I have done everything right. Twice, I went back to a saved game and did it all over again with the same problem. I have written to tech advice. maybe they can help. In the meantime, iof there is some specific thing I should do I would be most appreciative. thanks in advance.

Patricia,

Send me that saved game and I'll check to see if it does that for me too.

I have a problem, discussion on hints for a couple of days with the French Toast being able to be put into the oven, beginning ov Chapter 4 I think. I have been talking with Mag, great but he wants me to send the game to him and he will try, unfortunately I don't seem to be able to do whatever I have to do. I don't have an e-mail addres, so I can't attach to an e-mail. I believe it is a problem with the game as noone else seems to be complaining. I have played lots of games know how they work, and can't progress any further with this one until I can put the French toast in the over. oops

To all those who have suffered with me via the French Toast, I was the problem. The toast that appearws in inventory is not toast that has been prepared in the mixture, I did everything but that, once I realized rather that putting the toast in the oven I had to 1st put it in the mixture and then the oven, Eureka, I was saved. Thanks to all of you expecially mag.
