General rules

When it is possible to talk to a person, try all available questions. Often you have to talk to the same person more than once. Continue until they repeat themselves. You get hints and addresses during conversations.

Save often so you can go back, if you have missed something. You find the option "Save" if you click "Alternative" at the top right. If you choose "Dialog Journal", you'll find all the dialogs you have heard so far.

When you click on something, on the screen or in the inventory, you get three choices, eye, mouth and hand. If you can't take an item the hand is missing. If you can't talk to somebody the mouth is missing.
The following verbs are used in this walkthrough.
Look means: Click the item, choose eye.
Take, pick up, push, turn, open and similar action verbs means: Click the item, choose hand.
Talk, blow, eat, taste and similar verbs means: Click the item, choose mouth.
Use, give, show and similar verbs means : Click the item in the inventory, choose hand. (The cursor changes to the item). Then click something on the screen.

When you take something it is put in the inventory. You can see some action in the chest at top left. Always go to the inventory and look at the item. It can contain other items that you have to take or look at in the inventory to be able to use it.

If you double-click on the background or the icons April will run and speed up the game.
