LOCK PICKING SOLUTION

The tumblers are divided into 3 sections - grey, brown and red. Each section has 5 tumblers, 3 at the top and 2 at the bottom. The 3rd tumbler in the top row of each section (marked with large dots) is that specific section's master tumbler. All the other tumblers are regular, or slave tumblers.

When a section's master tumbler is clicked all the tumblers in that section will automatically open and lock.

Note that before any tumbler can be clicked, the tumblers to the left of it must be opened.

Each regular (slave) tumbler is linked to another tumbler in the lock - not necessarily in the same section. This means that when any regular tumbler is moved the tumbler linked to it will also react, moving either up or down. However, when a linked tumbler is already open, and is being held open by the other pick, then its reaction will be to 'lock' itself open.

As a starting point, try to establish the linked tumblers for each tumbler. Note that the grey tumblers have to be opened to get to the brown ones, and both the grey and brown tumblers opened to test the red ones.

The grey and brown sections are relatively easy to open and the same method is used for both.

GREY SECTION
01) Click G1 - linked tumbler G4 reacts by moving upwards
02) Switch picks (so that G1 remains held open by the other pick)
03) Click G4 - this locks linked tumbler G1
04) Switch picks (so that G4 remains held open by the other pick)
05) Click G2 - this locks linked tumbler G4
06) Switch tumblers (so that G2 remains held open by the other pick)
07) Click G3 (Master Tumbler) - this locks all the grey tumblers

BROWN SECTION
01) Click B1 - linked tumbler R5 reacts by moving upwards
02) Switch picks (so that B1 remains held open by the other pick)
03) Click B4 - this locks linked tumbler B1
04) Switch picks (so that B4 remains held open by the other pick)
05) Click B2 - linked tumbler B5 reacts by moving downwards
06) Switch picks (so that B2 remains held open by the other pick)
07) Click B3 (Master Tumbler) - this locks all the brown tumblers

As certain brown tumblers are linked to red tumblers (and visa versa) the red section is more difficult. The only way to manipulate some red tumblers is in reaction to moving a brown tumbler.
