Just started it today. Found it on Steam "free" until you want hints or skips. What I really miss is the cursor that tells you where the active areas are. You just have to guess, and click a lot. I like it, because 5BN has such a great team of artists and writers. Let's see how my patience holds up.
Your comment about having to take notes is right on. Like the Old Days. At least it's the only way to keep track of where you have found morphing objects or collectibles. No help from the map.

I stay signed in and haven't been involuntarily signed out even once since I installed the last version of the GM, so not sure what's going on there.
Maybe that version information is only showing up in the GM for Club members.
