I'm new to this forum but not to Gameboomers. Being an old old hand at adventure games I have referred to this site many times.
I just thought the good people here would be interested in this gorgeous puzzle/adventure game called The Room that I recently downloaded from Steam. It has truly beautiful graphics; ingenious, beguiling puzzles and a nice hint system. Made by Fireproof Games, based here in the UK, it was originally intended for the iOS and android market, but was released to PC in July last year.
The follow up, The Room 2 has been out since last year but not yet available for PC.

Welcome Felled, and thank you for the information about The Room. I purchased the game a while back but have not yet played it. May be awhile until I do, but happy to hear it's a good game!

Both the Room and the sequel are very good games. I played them on my iPad, and enjoyed the freedom of being able to manipulate objects in a 3D environment. Great puzzles for us frustrated Myst and Rhem lovers.

Checked it out --> saw only positive reviews --> saw it has great puzzles and good graphics --> saw the price --> bought it!

I'm happy I brought the game to your attention, Tomer. I was hoping to generate some interest and enthusiasm for this game and thereby encouraging Fireproof to adapt the Room 2 for PC. By all accounts it is much bigger and better than the original. Needless to say, the PC is my only means to play these games. I'm going to try and insert a hyperlink to a review for Room 2.
