Hi there
How come nobody talks about "homesick" the game? A lovely simple little game and with a bit of horror. Nice decor like urban decay and some poetic view also.I am no good in writing review but maybe somebody could try his or her hand on it.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I agree with you cyanne, Homesick is a beautiful game and I enjoyed playing it. There was a strong sense of immersion and mystery throughout the game, and the high-res graphics were so good that sometimes I explored more than I had to, just to admire the space. I've never seen sunlight look so 3D and realistic in a game. Also enjoyed the piano soundtrack, the puzzles and the exploration. I didn't enjoy night time as much, but it was thrilling at times, especially when you were able to accomplish something.

I point, therefore I click.

I have a tendency to get dizzy from 3-D games. I'm wondering whether anyone with this problem has played Homesick.

There's a YouTube of the early part of the game.

See if watching that makes you sick.

Thanks Jenny. I tried it out. The motion is typical of keyboard/Mouse FPS games that I never used to have a problem with, but sure do now. The player in the video is jerking things around quite a bit and pretty fast and that certainly started to give me the beginnings of motion sickness. Maybe it would be better if the motion was slower-so hard to tell.

What do you think. Did it bother you at all?

Yes, at least watching the video did. But FPS-type movement has always given me nausea (motion sickness or simulation sickness or whatever you call it). I just get it a lot faster now.

The forward movement isn't that fast, but the sideways movement tends to jerk in the videos I saw.

I couldn't find a demo for the game, but there are other trailers and gameplay examples on YouTube.

I've just played the first scene and the graphics are lovely. I'm not a big fan of keyboard movement though.
