Since I've exhausted all the current RPG's I have and am waiting for a couple of expansions to arrive, I'm contemplating which of the many I've played to replay.

I have a few that are old favorites that I dust out and replay ever so often Among them are:

Morrowind
Skyrim
Witcher 1 and 3
and KOTOR 1 and 2

These are my mainstays.

In second place are:

Dragon Age Origins and Inquisition
and more recently Pillars of eternity.

So how many of our dark siders replay their RPG's and which are the favorites?

You laugh because I'm different
I laugh because you're all the same

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Oh, boy -- I replay them constantly.

Baldur's Gate with TOSC - probably five or 6 times
BG 2 with expansion - possibly 20 times started, maybe 15 completed.

Fallout 2 - three or four times

Morrowind - at least 7-8 times with expansions
Oblivion - at least thrice with expansions, possibly more

Dragon Age Origins - four times
Dragon Age 2 - twice so far
DA:Inquisition - twice (logged 391 hours!)

Might and Magic 7 - probably five or 6 times

Star Wars Kotor - four times
Star Wars 2 - same

And on it goes. A great RPG never gets old.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

For me I love to replay the first few Tomb Raider games! I find them challenging and fun!

Oh yea, definitely replay games that I enjoy. Like you saw from one of my other posts Skyrim was on the top of my list, at least until the next Elder Scrolls game comes along. That may not seem like an "old" game, but just think, it came out nearly 4 years ago! That's pretty old in game years now-a-days. lol

I tend to focus on one game for about 70% of my gameplay (until I feel the need to move on) and then have 3-4 peripheral games going to break things up. Right now I've been investing a lot of time into SWTOR online, but started to replay Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition. I can blame GOG and their specials for getting me back into Neverwinter. Also started playing TOS: Arena. I had to laugh at the giant pixel graphics and tinny midi-music, they were so dramatic. grin

Skyrim was 4 years ago? Scary. I played it for 400 hours before I remembered that little thing called a main quest and couldn't for the life of me recall what it was, or how it started, or anything about it at all. duh

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Speaking of replays, I finished DA Inquisition Trespasser a couple of days ago and decided to replay the entire series now that I have a completely different way of understanding the overarching storyline, culture and especially the mythology.

Talking to Flemeth in Dragon Age Origins is so very different now, and I have so much more respect for her.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
