Thanks, oldbroad. He did get up to eat some tuna, he got some water from that but don't think he's drinking water.

Do hope your little fur baby gets better. You might try adding a bit of water to the tuna.

Not drinking or peeing is not a good sign, TLC. Don't wait too long to get him to your veterinarian.

Aw, poor kitty. Best thoughts, and hope he gets better!! I agree with Draclvr, taking him to the vet would be the best thing.

I agree with Draclvr too TLC. Older kitties need to see the vet to make sure there is nothing else going on. My old kitty had a problem with constipation and it caused a lot of other issues for her. Don't wait to long. Prayers on the way.

Your best bet its to go to the vet. Just like several others have said, older cats have special needs. High protein feed is not necessarily the best, especially if there are kidney issues going on. The vet can prescribe specific (feed or meds) after examining them.

Wondering how your kitty is today, TLC.

Hi Everyone, Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. He seems a lil better today than yesterday, he was up and around meowing, waiting for breakfast, gave him tuna again. I'm beginning to think it was the 9 lives cat food, maybe he got a bad can? We have 3 cats, so its hard to tell who drinks and who's peeing in the litter. I'll be staying home with him again today.

I hope he continues to improve TLC but I still would visit the Vet just to be sure.

If he's not completely himself by Monday, I will call the Vet.

Even if he doesn't eat, I'd feel better if he was drinking - dehydration could be his biggest enemy right now.

Keep us updated on how kitty is doing!

How is kitty this morning?

He seems fine this morning, just like his old self. Just wish we could fatten the old boy up. I really appreciate all of the prayers, well wishes and advice.

PS. He even tried to steal Scoop's food.

PPS. He's now even laying by me, being his pushy self for lovin.
