Hi.

Am re-playing this game but this time from Big Fish. Not sure if it is the original game or not.

I'm still at the beginning of the game, in the palace. I have exhausted all conversations. I have gotten "the favorite" into her steam bath after feeding her honey cakes. I want to go upstairs to get in the basket to keep an eye on her door (or somebody's door) but when I walk up the stairs I am thrown back down again. I can't find anything I've missed and don't know why I cannot go upstairs.

Can you help me with a hint/nudge?

Thanks.

Have you started the steam bath for the princess?
Did she give you her medallion?
Can you get to and talk to Madame Souafi?

Is there a possibility that the cursor for going upstairs is not in the correct place?

I did start the steam bath and she went in there. Did not give me a medallion.?!

Madame Souafi is sitting down there but all conversation is exhausted.

I walk up the stairs, see myself up there but then am transported back down. Seems like a glitch.

I will see what happens tonight when I get home. I noticed some other problems that seemed to resolve themselves after getting out of the game for awhile. Maybe that will happen today. Or I will try from a save before the steam bath and see what happens.

The favorite is in the steam bath, but the stairs worked fine tonight. I didn't end up back at the bottom and am now in the room. Game is a little glitch for some reason. I'll just have to keep that in mind I guess.

Thank you.

Okay. Good luck on getting the game to work flawlessly. I remember I had several glitches then.

Help! I'm in town. I've been to the café, the barber, the photographer, the dock, and the garage. I seem to have done everything I can do except get the fan but I cannot get back to the palace. I'm not sure if I just can't find it or it just won't let me go back because I'm missing something or what.

Hint/nudge only if possible.

Thanks.

Leave town: Have you been to the market and talked to a biggie there?

Fan: I presume the barber you mention is the beauty shop - Coiffure Mohamed. If so - look around there.

Thanks MaG. I took another look around the barber/beauty shop and finally found the fan that I had to fix. Since I could not find it earlier I was thinking maybe I needed something from the palace. In my notes I had written something about making a paper fan.

Anyway, I'm back at the palace now and hopefully, moving on.

I love it too but right now I am sick of the trees. I'm pretty sure I'm missing some hotspot item. Taking a rest but may need help later or tomorrow.

Well, I can't find what I'm missing.

I have a tool, a nut, and a polopola in inventory (as well as some other stuff that has been there all along). I am missing some item for use in the nut hut and I lost my hook.

Nudge me please!

Thanks.

Are you trying to make a drum after you talked to the prince?

- If so, talk to one who knows how to make a drum and get the items he wants.

I made the drum already and have the bat. I need to do something with the nut but am apparently missing an item for something off to the right of the room. Also, I believe I dropped a hook that I'll need to hang the bat from in the trap.

If I remember correctly, Ann will use that hook automatically after you get it - so it might show up when you need to use it.

Now for the missing item - the one on the right of the room has pictures close by the nuts? You have to make an item to have that thrill of a lifetime.

I don't think we're talking about quite the same thing. There is a picture outside of the hut. When you walk inside there is a contraption with 3 nut/barbell/horn (obviously I don't know how to describe it) things on it. When you click, they turn for a different view. Near there is where you put the nut down and cut it. There are a couple of positions for that. Then in the back, past that there is a sawhorse type stand with 2 stone wheels on it and a rope around them. This gadget has a handle on the side of it that requires some object which is what I don't seem to have.

Does this make any sense?

Hi, oldbroad. I've been hesitating to jump into this discussion because this looks like a fairly complicated game and I don't know a thing about it.

Having said that, it looks to me like if you do the nut contraption puzzle correctly, the sawhorse item doesn't require an additional object.

The picture should show what needs to be made.

To do so, you need to personalize it for Ann.

You have to know a vital statistic of Ann. One of the machines will show that.

Then you use that knowledge on another machine.

Ultimately, you make the item that is personalized for Ann.

Hi Marian. Thanks for your input.

Thanks MaG. I'll give it another go. I don't remember the game being this hard when I played it years ago but maybe I used the w/t then. I know I used it for the swing part for sure.

It's a scale, yes? That's as far as I got. I can't make sense out of the picture, nor can I figure out the "clues" in the cut scenes which go too fast. Besides, they only show up after you choose what you're doing so how does that help me? That's a rhetorical question MaG. I know they must make some kind of sense. I'm still working on trying to figure it out.

Yes, scale. Ann is getting skinny running around.

The sign shows these people are bungee jumping people.
There are 3 machines inside the hut.
You need to make a bungee specific for Ann.

Click to reveal..
Weigh Ann using the scale. She weighs 2.5 coconuts.

Click to reveal..
Make 2.5 coconuts on the nut holder so that it can be used to optimize the elastic-bungee for Ann.

Click to reveal..
Then make the elastic on the elastic machine at right corner by pulling lever.
