Sandy,

Did you follow through the clues of the 3 notes?
Read them by right clicking them in inventory.
If I remember correctly one is what to do with the mirror.
---------
You should be able to read them if you have not done it yet.
-------------

Ok - read a restored saved game:
1. Check the wallpaper (slightly raised part) in room 203.
2. Pity - have not found a useful clue.
3. Look on mirror and say Winston Smith.
luck

This time, I WAS able to read the notes by clicking on them, but it seems that I have ALREADY followed up on those clues on the notes, except for the "pity" note (which I believe is NOT a clue, at all). Apparently, at THIS point I just don't know what I have to know. Should I start the game again from the beginning? i'm so sure that I had spoken to all of the "ghosts", but who knows. LOL Many thanks for bearing with me, Mag.
Sandy

By the way, is the goal to get into the Exorcists' room in order to move on?

Hi Bootskitty,
Congratulations on finishing this game. You must have been doing something right. With all the help I'm getting in this thread, I still cannot proceed any further than seeing "the little girl in the Dollhouse room. HAPPY GAMING!

OK, I walked further into the basement room and saw the symbol, Clicked on the keypad and entered 440, and the trap door opened. In the cave now. All I see is an "orb" and a "stone altar", but no place to go in the cave. Anybody know what my next move should be?

Did you interact with the orb?

You've seen: Eric, Clown, orb, Winston, room 101 ghost and Fjord.
Now see the exorcist.

Help! I am stuck. I am in the room with Charlie the puppet and can't get out. All I have in inventory is a Groucho mask and a bloodied rubber glove. The conversation is always the same.

Any hints please?

I think there's an exit on the left for more actions. Please verify.

there is an exit on the left, but every time Oz tries to go through it Charlie calls him back to talk, but there is no new conversation. I have tried using the glove and the mask on everything there including Oz, to no avail. I did get plus points to say that Oz hated art when I interacted with the Venus de Milo statue. There is also a pillar in the room which I can't do anything with.

Is there a box on top of the pillar?
Have you right clicked the puppet?

MaG, I am writing a complete walkthrough for Oz Orwell and The Exorcist. First time I've ever done that. How would I post it?

Hi again, Bootskitty,
Welcome to Mag's world. This may be the beginning of new career for you. LOL I'm really impressed that you were able to complete this game in such a relatively short time, while some of us are still "floundering around". Good luck on your new venture, and I'm looking forward to your walkthrough. MAG, I also thank YOU for giving Bootskitty the benefit of your knowledge and your experience in order for her to accomplish this.

Thanks so much, Judy and Mag. You two are going to make my gaming life much easier now. I'm almost obsessed about getting to the end of this game. Looking back through this thread, it seems that i'm not the only one, either.
Sandy

P.S. Judy, it's a GREAT walkthrough. Mag must be very proud of you.

So I restarted the game from scratch, followed Judy's (Bootskitty) walkthrough to the letter. and I STILL can't enter the exorcist's office. HELP SOMEBODY PLEASE! LOL. I did everything in the same order according to the walkthrough. I even "filmed" the "orb"

Thanks for getting back to me. Mag.
When I click on the Exorcist's door. Oz says: "I haven't collected enough material yet. Before I interview the Exorcist, I have to get working on the ghosts."
When I click on the HELP icon at upper left of screen, Oz says:"I haven't any ideas at the moment."
So apparently, I have missed something on the way to this point in the game----- even though I've followed the walkthrough word by word. I hope somebody can "fill in the blanks".
Again, thanks, Mag and fellow Boomers. for your patience with me.
Sandy

Try again on these:
Use the camera on the ghosts that you can interact with (if possible use the camera on them: the mirror, 101, clown, Eric, Fjord and the orb.

Hi again, Mag,
Where do I find FJORD?. I DID use the camera on all of the others you have mentioned, even though Oz could NOT get a picture of the clown. Still stumped here. Thanks again for coming to my aid, AGAIN.

I didn't get a camera shot of Fjord myself and didn't find her after all interactions are complete. So you're done with her.
Eric is the one with the viola and told you the code for the trap door.
I presume you also saw the ghost through the hole on the wall?
You got the cup, bloody glove inventory?
You checked the altar and orb in the cave?
