See what our Beta testers had to say:
“Hubby says "publish it quick!" I spent several minutes just looking at the intro page, the details were really fine. The wave motion was perfect, and what a pretty screen! What I really enjoyed about this game was the running story line and the interaction of the characters, it gave more reality. The graphics and the characters movements were top notch. The colors were nice jewel toned and not dark and foreboding.(boring) I look forward to more games like this from 4 Friends. You Guys rock!” - Sarah, beta tester
“Great adaptation of an original kids story I was raised with. Good fun with excellent map, help, graphics c\w nice story & adventure. The match-3 fight was a nice touch for me. Thank-you for this beta look-see play time. I'll look forward to the release.” - Thomas, beta tester
Journey to the past and attempt to thwart an evil plot in the bonus game! Collect hidden playing cards and find morphing objects. Need a clue? Check out the comprehensive strategy guide. This sounds good. Thanks Marian.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Just finished this and it is one of the best values in a game from Big Fish in a while. It is a long game, with many venues, lots of challenges (great and small), and I recommend it. There are hidden objects to find and bonus stuff, but it is not in your face at all (no pop-ups), so you can forget about this aspect completely, if you choose. There is a bonus game at the end but it is remarkably short (and it isn't much, and it might be just as good to buy the cheaper, Standard version on that score). Game Guide is included in the CE version, but you won't need it at any point. There are a few HOG scenes, but not too many, and they introduce creative ideas into them that take the concept beyond "Find the Scissors." Good map function allows for easy/fast transport, and you can set your Menu to have it show where the active areas are, if you want that help. You can tailor the entire Menu to show you any level of clues and highlights you want, or turn them all off, individually. The graphics are good, clear, and the scenes each are beautifully created. The game's only shortcoming from my perspective is that the mini-games were all WAY too easy. Aside from that, it is on my Top Ten list, marked down as a game I plan to replay later. I'm so happy to see these casual games stretching their wings a bit, and leaving behind so much of the repetitive, simplistic style of early HOGs.

Got back to this game and finished the bonus chapter today. An excellent Casual, in my opinion, so I hope to find more by this developer

I agree, Mag. The early episodes in this series were far too easy and short, but Alice was a definite step above. Not overwhelmed with HOG scenes. A "big" game by casual standards. I've marked it in my List as a "Replay" game. Would gladly buy another by the same group.

THe large group testing BFG does with members is only a partial game. The testers in-house or staff is full game.
