So, I just came across a video by one of my favorites, Lindsey Sterling playing a track called Forgotten City that she wrote for the upcoming RiME adventure game. Apparently, the development studio takes some influence from Studio Ghibli. So the combination of Lindsey and being influenced by one of my favorite anime studios really got me intrigued. Has there been any discussion on this one? Apologies if I missed it doing a search, my mind is a little distracted at the moment. Just wondering if anyone has heard any preliminary Beta reviews or reports on the game since it will be released in a couple days.

Thanks!

It looks like a platformer to me, but looks good! I haven't heard any buzz about it though. There are some more details here and Here.

Ah, thanks Ana! Wasn't sure what genre it fell into with Wiki identifying it as an Adventure and Puzzle video game. In looking at the teaser vid it does look to be more Action/Adventure, but I suppose it could be something like Riven, where the "danger" is imposed over cut scenes rather than actually bringing down the character. I just got excited seeing Lindsey Sterling doing part of the soundtrack. lol Could move this over to the Darkside, just in case. We can always send it back your way if it turns out differently. thumbsup

I'll wait till its released and see what folks say. There have been some outstanding platformers released lately. It has seen a resurgence. I've announced a few as long as they aren't too actiony.

Well one thing is for sure Lindsey is amazing.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.
