Mr. Bill needs save testers for Syberia 3 saves.
Check ***this thread*** if you have Syberia 3 and would like to help him confirm that his procedure works.

Don't everybody jump in at once. smile

Thank you Jenny.

I believe a lot of you folks are waiting for the new, hopefully Point & Click version of Syberia 3 and I don't blame you, I just couldn't wait especially since I had bought a rather expensive DVD with no game on it - Oh Well. But, I do believe the save game system will be the same as it is now. If you will be needing a save in the future to get past a particular place in this game then you will need the instructions on how to do it and I am working on that right now. This is not my system, but came out of some not too clear comments and directions given from some players at Steam. I have successfully loaded two other folks saved games so far. I also took screenshots of what happened. I can't say that I have ever seen a saved game system work quite like this before over the last 20 years I've been doing this. If some of you don't want to try and load some of my saved games and I have lots of them and they don't have any viruses or whatever. If you prefer send me one of yours and to make it fun don't tell me where it is in the game. I'll come back and tell you where Kate was and so on in order to prove that they can be shared. I hope some of you will try loading one yourself from my collection. It might be good to get some practice in.

Take care everybody.

Mr. Bill

Gee, Both of you may be Sassy Global Moderators. blush

I have to admit I enjoyed the story so I'm glad I played it. And if I can help some others enjoy it that will make me happy also. Remember now that it might be another 20 years before you find out what happens to Kate, Oscar and the Youkols. Really, I think they will come out with the next sequel rather soon because I believe they have been working on that as well over the last 13 to 17 years.

So far I have one brave volunteer.

Cheers,

Bill

Really? Has Microids/Anuman posted something to that effect?
I know a lot of people are fed up with cliffhanger endings that take over 10 years to be resolved -- reason enough not to buy a game with a cliffhanger -- especially when you're playing it for the story, as most people would be in a Syberia game.

I'm glad you found someone to help you test.
Did you ever figure out why your save wasn't working for Cazzie?

No Jenny, I haven't seen anything official posted - just a hunch. The time was long enough to do several games. smile

I can only guess that Cazzie's Game itself may be the reason. Hot Spots totally Disappeared from his game. He could wander around and do nothing. Maybe he should see if he can start a new game and get Hot Spots back again. Then maybe he could load a new game. I feel bad about it, but don't know what to do.

I'm aware this will be one of those useless replies which boil down to saying 'No', Mr. Bill, so my apologies in advance!

The reason I respond is that I was eagerly awaiting the game too, but found out that, even though my PC is just two years old, the game doesn't meet my system requirements.

Otherwise I would have downloaded and started playing it straightaway.

Good luck!

Rich
