At some point every game in my GOG and Steam wish lists go on sale, usually at the same time.

I still have games from the early 2000s and maybe even 1990s I haven't played yet.

I have a similar problem with VHS tapes and DVDs which I own but have never watched. At the moment I don't have a functional VHS player. I can watch the DVDs on the computer.

Currently Playing:
Adventure Game: Broken Age
Darkside: Star Wars: The Old Republic

I am in the same boat as you Guybrush regarding both the games and the videos, except I DO have a functional VHS player. I just never get to it!

I bought a VHS/DVD player for this very reason. The machine will play and record to VHS any DVD, and I can enjoy old VHS tapes I never replaced with DVDs (there are a few). I have 3 games I haven't finished, Obduction, Resonance and Prominence I haven't finished (not to mention replaying Tesla Effect).

I don't feel I have "too many games too little time" -- the reason being that there aren't that many recent games under the ever-widening "adventure games umbrella" that I can enjoy. I've been saving those few promising adventure games from the 1990's that I haven't played yet -- because I don't believe there will be any more like that.

I'm not surprised you feel you have "too little time" for adventure games though, since you're also playing "Darkside" games like "Star Wars: The Old Republic." Not that I blame you. If it weren't an online game I'd be interested in it too.
