Hi Chuck, I found this information in MaG's walkthrough for the game:

It's hard for me to believe that MaG's walkthrough is wrong. I will look around to see if I can find any more info on this, though.

I don't think you can see/find saves in game - it just saves automatically when you exit - so there are no saves to locate.

Why don't you check out the video walkthrough here. Watching that for a few minutes might help clarify where the inventory is located.

Marian...when I needed a knife to open a door..it appeared in a smallcircle left of the arrow. I am dropping this game for now..thanks for the help

Maybe watching the walkthrough video that I linked to above would also help, Chuck.

Don't walk toward the woman that has the vegetables/fruit walk the other way... you walk off the sidewalk... into a puddle keep going he is standing there.
