Please refresh my memory of how to use the downloaded installer. I'm not having any luck. Want to install game on Windows 7. I did it once before on a different computer running Win 7.

Thanks.

The information about the patch mentioned in the Windows 7 and Games thread is here

https://web.archive.org/web/201001060945...ads.htm?gssnb=1

The patch seems to have originally been made for Pentium III processors, and is an old patch by now, but consider that the game was originally made for a Pentium 100.

The patch seems to be a self-extracting .exe file from year 2000.

You first install the game, then run the patch to extract the files in the patch and overwrite files in the game folder with those in the patch.

You may need to install the game using compatibility mode (right-click the installer on the game CD, change compatibility, Save changes, Exit, then run the installer).

I also found this thread here that both you and Jenny posted in.

Thanks Jenny and thanks Marian! I needed to do the compatibility thing (to Win 98). Took me awhile to find the right place to do it but the game seems to be up and running now.
