Having been bored silly from my (temporary) inability to get around, I decided to waste a bit of money on a GOG download of Syberia 3 - I am aware that the game has been rubbished by experts but what the heck, feed the cat the goldfish.

Trouble is, there are no instructions for anything, like a game manual, so I am not sure what I am doing - how can I find how to Save, for example.

Also, there is no walkthrough or simple instructions that I can find.Is there a W/T somewhere that I could access?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks

petert

TLC is correct saying that the game autosaves. To me that was the worst part of the game. I liked it quite a bit! I do hope you caught it in their recent sale though.

Thanks to all.
Yes, I did get the game in the GOG sale but it does not run reliably. There is no introduction and no instructions on how to do anything - the sort of data that any game manual would furnish.

I only managed to get it going the once - from then on I keep getting an "'OOPS' the game crashed" message. Each message is dated and has a (different)6-digit number, and asks me to inform the game developer.

I have informed Gog and I am confidently awaiting explicit, simple instructions telling me that they can help me.

Sure they will.

Won't they?

Why don’t you post over in glitches. Let them know what version of Windows you are running and what computer you have they might have some suggestions for you

Winfrey,

I thought about posting on Glitches but I was hoping that Gog would come up with something first.
Clearly, something has gone awry in the downloading, so I thought that this method would be easier. I had to give Gog the computer specs (DxDiag) so we'll see what they say about re-downloading the game in a different way.

I live in hope!

And of course, making sure your computer meets the minimum system specs to play the game.

Good luck petert. I do hope your computer meets the specs and you are able to play the game.
