I no longer have pets (mine were always dogs) but my Daughters both have dogs so I got a Dog's Christmas Stocking each for their's laugh

A quite big "proper hang up" stocking, too, with a chewable toy in the shape of a Christmas Cracker, a Tennis Ball and a Three Course Christmas Dinner - which consisted of little packs of "healthy" dog food treats.

There was a Salmon Starter, a Turkey Main Course and a Cheese Board for "afters".

And both dogs loved everything .... hamster hamster hamster

We used to do that, Mad, but didn't do it this year

I bet those dogs love you!

I haven't been celebrating Christmas these last several years, including not getting my cats anything anymore. I used to get them all gifts and wrap them lightly and then pile them up in separate piles (one for each cat, and at one time I had 6), or sometimes I would put the gifts in little bags and the cats would dig their heads in the bags (though not necessarily their bags). Ah, those were the days.

All my dogs and grandpuppies have stockings and get toys, and being a pet sitter I gave all my regular clients toys. I started buying in September to accumulate over 25 toys for dogs and cats. laugh

For our dogs (we have 3 dogs) we loosely wrap up dog treats, Kiwi the oldest has no problems with taking the wrapping apart, Binky eventually gets it but Peco because the shape of his mouth has trouble so we let Kiwi give him a hand.
As for the 2 cats, we give the male cat some Catnip (or I like to call it "Snuff") and the Fussy female cat we give her a bit of can food.

I don't have any Indoorsies anymore, but the Outdoorsies got 'extra' cans of slurpy, gooey, shredded, gravy laden cat food. They really enjoyed the feast. The Outdoorsies tend to leave some food for 'later' or for the raccoons, possums, and anyone else who manages to get on the food table. Nice of them to share. blackkitty catrub
