You solve Word Ladders by changing one letter in the first word to form a new word and then change one letter in that new word to form another new word and keep repeating the process until you spell the final target word. The number of letter-change moves it took me follows each Word Ladder pair. ...I'll bet some of you can build a [i]Word Ladders[/i in less moves than it took me. Example: To change Mice into Rats I made 4 moves... mice - 1-> mi te - 2-> m ate - 3-> mat s - 4-> rats = 1. good-luck [4] = 2. long-pole [3] = 3. port-pier [5] = 4. free-bail [6] = 5. bird-beak [4] = 6. smile-frown [9]
Dan ... To learn, read...To know, write...To master, teach...To live, play games & listen to whale music Stay Smart & Stay Safe

5. bird-bind-bend-bead-beak
Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
