Hi Bluto, I moved your post over to the Glitches forum since this is a problem of a technical nature - hopefully the techies here will have some suggestions for you.

Bluto, I think you posted your response in the wrong thread... I found this in the Windows 10 and Games thread.

Marian I think they misunderstood what I asked I t wont accept the walk throughs. I was not trying to down load a game.
I wanted to know how to copy the Wt from game boomers to the Lenovo laptop the text part only

Thanks Bluto

The walkthroughs are not files, so you can't save them to your computer as a file. You CAN copy them and then paste into a word processing program though. Do you have Microwoft Office and Word? If you don't, then you should have Word Pad on your computer. If it's not something you use a lot, it should be listed in your Start Programs. Since I don't know what version of Windows you have, I don't know how it will be listed. If you don't see it, just type word pad in your search box. Open it up to a blank document. Then go to the walkthrough. Hold down your Shift key and click on the first letter of the walkthrough. Keep holding down the Shift key and scroll down to the last letter of the word in the walkthrough. Click again. Now the entire walkthrough should be highlighted. Right click and select copy. Go back to your open document in Word Pad. Left click in the document to get your cursor there. Then right click and select paste.

Can you explain any better how you are trying to do this?? Are you saying you are highlighting the walk through then right clicking on copy then going to perhaps notepad or word and right clicking and pasting??
oops you beat me to it Drac..

Well it must be the way you are doing it because it's certainly possible to copy a walkthrough.

The easiest way is to hold down the Control key on your keyboard and press the S key to save, then save as "webpage complete" (or whatever your web browser calls it). That gives you a htm or html file and a folder full of screenshots and other whatnot (like .js files) that the webpage may have used. It's the quickest way to save, but not the easiest way to archive because the result isn't a single file and you have to keep the html file and folder together.

Some webpages are specifically made so they can't be saved, but I don't know if there are any like that on Gameboomers.

To make a single walkthrough file, you can copy/paste into Word (or something like it) the way Draclvr described. That seems to be the preferred method of Gameboomers members, and eliminates some of the problems that can sometimes crop up when saving the walkthrough as a html file + folder.

If you have Office, it might be able to convert a webpage into a pdf file.

If you're still having issues, let us know how you're trying to save the walkthrough.

Thank you Jenny100, I either did not know this or have forgotten it but the ctrl s is a great way to save a walkthrough.... I will use this from now on.. saves alot of right click and copying... works like a charm.... always learning something here. :-)
