I just noticed 2 things.. first there used to be, at the bottom of the page, a place where you could switch forums... it's gone.. do we just go back to the forums and pick from there?
Second, when I see a highlighted folder sat Adventure Games, when I click on that the folders that I had not read yet were highlighted.... now everything is not and I don't know which ones I have read (old age) without clicking on them... am I missing something here?

I can see the "Hop to" a different forum just under the box I'm typing in.

I also still have highlights showing on threads with posts I haven't read.

hmmm, wonder why mine aren't.... I logged off and came back but still all dark.

I have a little down arrow to the right in the "Hop To" field where I can select where to hop to. Do you not have that arrow? You do have to hover your cursor in the right end of the field for it to appear.

I found the hop to and arrow... what I still don't have is the highlighted folder in the appropriate section.. example.. Adventure games..that has a highlighted folder. but when I go into section none of the folders are highlighted.

So, you can see "All about games" but, say "adventure games discussion" or "casual games" is not highlighted?

I can see all the main titles: Adventure Games discussion, Casual, The dark side... and those pads to the side if there is a new notice are highlighted. When I click on say Adventure Games all the folders are dark. The new ones are not highlighted.

ok, when are looking inside Adventure games... on the left side it looks like a folder... when there is a new post it is highlighted.... all day none were highlighted.... but now they are back showing a new post. And same thing with the sections.. like Adventure Games if there was a new post the icon to the left , looks like a note pad to me, is highlighted to let you know a new post .. that part worked. What just started working was once I opened a section ie, Adventure Games all the icons to the left were dull no highlighted ones indicating a new post... up until about 5 -10 minutes ago... they are appearing now!... not sure what happened

I'm still confused. I don't have any heading called "Adventure Games." I have "All about games" with "Adventure Games Hints and Help" and "Adventure Games Discussions" under it. Let's say I click on Adventure Games Discussions, I am simply taken directly to that forum. I don't have any note pad icons or anything else!

Ok, Guess I should not have abbreviated, when you click into Adventure Games Discussions and there are new posts that you have not read yet. Don't you see to the left of that post an icon that is highlighted letting you know you have not read that post yet and when you click on that post and read it the highlighted icon becomes dull? This indicates that you have read the post.

Oh, now I see. The Hop To and the list is working just fine for you. It's once you get to the forum that you're not seeing new posts icon highlighted. The answer is yes, if there are new posts, they are highlighted. If you don't use the Hop To at the bottom of the page and just go to the forum normally, is the new posts icon highlighted assuming there ARE new posts? How about any of the other forums?

Good morning, Drac. Yesterday no matter how I went to a forum the new highlighted posts were NOT highlighted... I knew there were some cause the main screen for Adventure Game Discussion was highlighted but when I went and looked at the posts all were grey non highlighted.... after I posted here I went back and tried once more and the highlighted new posts appeared... perhaps they were afraid of the techies... all is good now.

Yes, I went back a figured out that they had magically appeared for you! The gremlins must have been busy last night...
