A very sad update regarding the founder and CEO of Norse Noir: Loki's Exile game.
Hello all. This is Brad, the designer and writer for Norse Noir.
I have no easy way to write this, and please know I will be working hard at maintaining a professional tone through-out this letter. Early in the morning of Saturday, June 15th, my friend and colleague Jørgen Thrane passed away in a tragic accident. He was the founder and CEO of KreativeSpill, aged 37.
His family has asked that we make the news public. Right now I am lost, and in grief, and in panic, as I have been since the news reached myself and Cameron this weekend.
We had been working on Norse Noir in bits and pieces, hoping to get the game to a state where we felt comfortable releasing it in some form and fashion. Work had progressed slowly but every day brought a new, if not small, bit of polish to the title.
I am sure many of you have questions and they are likely ones that I share - Right now I have very few answers but I will do what I can to keep everyone who has invested their time, money and emotional support in our project updated with whatever news I can provide.
I am in a whirlwind of emotion as I try to process this loss. To know Jørgen was to love him for the good-hearted soul he was, and I know I am far from the only one left reeling.
Thank you all for your time in reading this, and for your support over the years. Any comments left here will be seen by his family and friends, and I will share any news I receive as soon as I am able.
Please take care of yourselves, everyone.
