Thanks, Marian.

I bought this slightly above average game before the demo was over on the basis of the music and an actual logic puzzle. The music has a traditional Scottish feel although I can't quite identify the tune. I usually have to reduce music volume to near zero in order to tolerate it. While the tracks are so far a bit repetitive, they are a breath of fresh air for me. Thank-you, Eipix.

The game reeled me in pretty early based on the music, as well. I found that and the setting a pleasant change of pace. smile

Other good qualities are the graphics are skillfully rendered and intricate enough to draw in the eye. While there are occasional illustrated pages of back story in black and white with a line of text, you don't have to find anything in them. The actual HOs are done pretty well and aren't off-putting. One early on used the Blue Tea technique of putting together a sightly object which I enjoyed.

I liked the early Myths of the World, then went off them after buying a dud so this is first one I've played in a while.

I ended up playing the last Myths of the World game, Fire from the Deep, twice. It was a pleasant escape. I can't say as there was any one thing that stood out as particularly outstanding about it, but the game takes place in Polynesia and I found the scenes and tasks enjoyable. It did not receive very high marks from reviewers. As I like to say, always play the demo and decide for yourself.
