Playing Sea of Darkness for 2nd time. Barely remember this problem 1st time.
After earning kronir from machine at the bar, walkthrough says Turn around
and take notebook....from the couch. There is no notebook in the couch.

Appreciate your help on this problem.

The notebook only shows up if you have the Bonus edition of Sea of Darkness. You received the Bonus edition if you preordered the game directly from HeR Interactive, which included some extras.
