Homophones are words pronounced alike but with different spellings or meanings.

-1. What do I do with the SKIN I took off the pear? If I was in Philadelphia, I could slap it on the Liberty Bell and MAKE IT RING. 2 words

-2. When I ran a taxi service in the old West, my PASSENGER-SIDE wagon wheels would sometimes break because of the heavy cowboys I carried. I always used the same MECHANIC to fix them because he did his job with an almost RELIGIOUS zeal. I made sure to send him THANK-YOU NOTES for his wonderful effort. 4

-3. If I have another DRINK OF WHISKEY, I'll have to get a new STRAP TO KEEP MY PANTS UP. 1

-4. Can you please hand me a COUPLE OF DOZEN SHEETS OF PAPER so that I can make a list of those PEOPLE WHO ARE SINGING? 2

-5. Can you help me plant my HERBs this AFTERNOON? 2 t t

-6. When I was a kid I used to watch MR. ED. I remember one episode where he had a sore throat and COULDN'T TALK WELL - kind of defeated the whole purpose of the show! 2

-8. I didn't do well in math (or maths) because I was too lazy to ADD UP all the numbers. I just LEFT A FEW OUT; what's so bad about that? 2

-9. I like FRUIT, but not the skin. That's why I'll TAKE THE SKIN OFF BOTH fruits I'm having for lunch. 3

10. I used to play the VIOLIN, but switched to a larger version. I really WASN'T VERY SERIOUS ABOUT PLAYING the violin, but my new instrument has become the foundation of life! 1 f----e

luck

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
